Position Summary...
What youll do...
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Central Fill is full of prescription fulfillment automation for increased accuracy and efficiency. While it is not patient facing, our Central Fill Pharmacy affects patients’ health and wellbeing by enabling our pharmacy associates at retail locations to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We are currently seeking a Manager, Production Systems to join our team at our Frederick, MD facility. This position requires onsite presence and does not offer remote work options.
Schedule:
We may have openings for the 1st and 2nd shifts.
This is a salaried manager role, while the goal is to work within the designated shift hours, there will be times where hours may adjust to meet business needs, so candidates must be flexible to work outside rotation/shift with advance notice as needed for training and/or business operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Option 1: Bachelors degree in a related field (such as engineering, business, operations management, or logistics).
Option 2: At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a production or operations environment, preferably in a distribution center, pharmacy automation, or a similar high-volume, fast-paced setting.
Option 3: 4 years of experience in an automation, manufacturing, warehousing, or pharmacy facility.
To complete a Board-approved program or Pharmacy Technician University program.
Must become a registered pharmacy technician in state of practice within one year of job entry.

Job duties:
Provide vision, direction, and leadership to your team to ensure that production systems are running efficiently and effectively.
Manage and maintain production systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. Ensure that all systems are up-to-date and functioning properly.
Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Provide training and development opportunities to your team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
Ensure that all production systems and processes are in compliance with Walmarts policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws and regulations.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with production systems and processes and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to manage those risks.
Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that production systems and processes are aligned with business objectives.
Set performance goals and expectations for your team, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure that your team is meeting or exceeding expectations.
Develop and manage budgets for your department to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in production systems and processes, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $120,000.00.
