JOB SUMMARY

Habit Burger & Grill is looking for an individual who is passionate about optimizing labor processes and improving operational efficiency. Reporting to and collaborating closely with the Sr. Director, Restaurant Excellence, this role leads in the exploration, testing, and implementation of key initiatives aimed at enhancing restaurant performance, including coordinating and managing projects, studying restaurant operations to identify opportunities for improvement, and staying current on industry best practices and trends.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Leads the coordination and testing of concepts and initiatives related to labor and process improvement in restaurants, supporting rollout efforts across the system.
  • Study restaurant and business operations, identify opportunities for improvement in quality, throughput, capacity, and labor utilization. Work cross-functionally to develop and guide the implementation of solutions.
  • Create and manage project timelines, ensuring tasks stay on track and deadlines are met. Test and quantify improvements in processes and designs
  • Support business objectives by evaluating and designing solutions to focus on driving cost efficiency and enhance the restaurant team member experience by simplifying operations
  • Solicit and present program feedback throughout testing and use findings to make necessary adjustments for optimal national execution.
  • Identify and raise awareness of potential risks associated with assigned initiatives when contributing to project discussions.
  • Oversee maintenance of Habit’s labor activity software, Laborpro.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, techniques, and tools.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of operations experience in a production environment.
  • Project management skills to define objectives, scope, cost, and schedule projects.
  • Experience with data analytics and engineering tools a plus (Excel, Access, CAD, SolidWorks)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at once
  • Strong operations experience with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule 2-3 days in office

 

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $118,600 to $139,400 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, well consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
