The Learning & Development/Technical Trainer, Advisor reports to the Director Learning and Development and is responsible for designing and implementing employee development programs within the sales technical space and will support of Zebra’s strategic goals. This person will partner with the business.
Responsibilities:
- Understands the latest skill needs, makes connections between employee’s capabilities and organizational requirements, gaps and provides employee with the right Learning and Development offerings
- Consults with cross function stakeholder groups to assess and analyze learning and training needs, assists in the recommendation process to decision-makers, identifies delivery methods and implements plans accordingly.
- Serves as the technical/application specialist for Zebra on Solution Sales opportunities or for Partners, End Users, and Alliances.
- Provides expert advice about products and services to customers and external business partners.
- Coordinates relevant implementation activities are in synch with overall PM project plan and ensure customer issues are addressed and resolved with agreed upon timelines.
- Participates in end user sales calls in support of channel and alliance partners to ensure appropriate representation of solution and technology.
- Assists in pre-sales design and solution development.
- Provides product and solution expertise, including understanding of competition and how to position Zebra.
- Assists in training and development of new partners on Zebra solutions and applications
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, adult learning/education or equivalent experience required
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Able to work a hybrid schedule in Holtsville, NY
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a Learning Experience Platform
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
- Excellent facilitation skills including the ability to deliver programs via virtual platforms as well in person
- Ability to establish strong presence with leaders across the organization
- Extensive experience in the design, management, and facilitation of management and employee development programs and courses in multiple modalities

Salary: USD 92700.00 - USD 139100.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
