Leads the planning and coordination of enterprise-wide systems, applications, or infrastructure.


Responsibilities:
  • Develops strategy and preparation for a variety of system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
  • Establish and lead the Center of Excellence (CoE) for QA, defining standards and best practices across projects. Make strategic decisions regarding technology choices and the level of test automation to ensure optimal QA processes.
  • Set goals for team members based on larger organizational objectives provided by senior leadership. Conduct performance evaluations and compensation reviews.
  • Manage the budget for the team, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Regularly interact with senior IT leadership, to align QA & Tools initiatives with Zebra’ strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with vendor account managers and executives to manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and procurement processes (PRs/POs), focusing on the procurement of software and services to support QA & Tools activities.
  • Manages preparation and presenting of cross-functional project proposals to management and user departments
  • Develop implementation standards and documentation requirements
  • Manages continual reviews with status of systems, applications and/or infrastructure and prepares staff recommendations for improvements
  • Manage plans to analyze business problems that can be solved through automated systems
  • Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team of professionals and management staff that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems, applications or infrastructure that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Partners with internal and/or external customers applying a strong understanding of current business trends

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required. Advanced Degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in IT Quality Assurance with at least 5 years of management experience
  • IT Quality Assurance experience specific to the following platforms: Siebel, Oracle ERP (on-prem and cloud), SFDC, AEM, Oracle Finance Applications, HCM, Data Warehouse Applications & BI tools, SOAP UI, and UNIX environments.
  • Experience with Jira on Perm and migrating ServiceNow ticketing systems to Jira and SalesForces.com.
  • Experience managing QA and Dev teams: QA teams in multiple regions (India and U.S.), PowerApps Development, Web application development.
  • Knowledge and experience in the following tools: Tosca, ALM, LoadRunner, Jenkins, PowerApps, Power-BI, Jira (must be expert level), ServiceNow.
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Ability to apply strategic concepts for process improvement
  • Demonstrate regular interactions with Senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, business units, and/or customers
  • Experience with technical and leadership skills

Salary: USD 136100.00 - USD 204100.00 Yearly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
