About the role

This Principal, Rentals Integrations & Industry Engagement, will play a pivotal role in supporting ongoing strategic partnerships and enhancing industry relationships to support Zillow Group’s Rentals business. This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain ongoing partnerships and business/software relationships, identify opportunities, re-negotiate agreements, and foster collaborations that drive growth and innovation in the rentals marketplace. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and has a proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships.

In this role you will: 

  • Manage ongoing relationships and communication with existing software integrations partners, including regular education on updates and advancements in the Zillow Rentals business.  

  • Establish and shape the goals of Zillow’s relationships with various industry partners including property management software companies, CRMs, media providers, listing feed providers, service providers, etc. 

  • Manage the lifecycle of existing integration & partnership agreements, including implementation, performance monitoring, and renewal discussions. 

  • Identify and evaluate potential software integrations and partnerships that align with Zillow Group’s Rentals business objectives and product priorities.

  • Represent Zillow Rentals at industry events & conferences to promote product integrations and foster industry collaboration.

  • Stay informed about Rentals industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape 

  • Provide ongoing training/support to internal Rentals teams on integrations and key partnerships

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $148,600.00 - $237,400.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

You possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related field within the real estate or technology industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully building and maintaining strategic partnerships.

  • Understanding of partnership marketing and experience structuring win-win partnerships

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes.

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence & engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience representing companies at industry events and building a strong industry presence.

  • High-level understanding of API’s and technical integrations

  • Passion for the real estate industry and a commitment to Zillow Group’s mission and values.
