Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in loyalty, revenue performance and data science.
  • Be a hands-on analyst - leading by example, teaching and learning.
  • Gather and present insights metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence and advisory over time.
  • Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming world.
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings

 

Qualifications:

  • Top performance in a numerical degree such as mathematics, statistics, economics or engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to extract data from prepared sources and transform it into both ad-hoc and structured continuous insights
  • Highly outcome oriented and data driven
  • Positive and flexible attitude, a willingness to embrace new initiatives and develop expertise in the Analytics function of the business
  • Strong report writing skills with the ability to gather, evaluate and analyze relevant information while structuring material in a logical and coherent manner.
  • Experience with data languages including SQL and Python, and tools like Tableau or Snowflake

 

Nice to haves

  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships
  • Experience working in high-growth environments, preferably B2C
  • Experience in Experimentation, A/B Testing, Optimization

As a Data Analyst at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you are here to join our Analytics organization to help build out our Sportsbook Analytics team focusing on customer experience. This Analyst will create insight into the growth of our business, partnering closely with the loyalty, revenue performance and data science teams. Building reporting, running experiments and analysing their performance will be top priorities for this individual.
