Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments. 

 

The Role 

Reporting to the VP, Indirect Procurement, the Director – Information Technology Procurement will work closely and collaboratively to secure optimal value for Fanatics through enterprise-wide procurement process development, cost savings and efficiency initiatives, and contractual negotiations. This role is critical in building discipline within the Procurement function. 

 

Specifically, this leader will be responsible for the following: 

 

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Lead the procurement activities for the information technology category inclusive of hardware, software, and services 
  • Lead a cross-functional vendor orchestration implementation, automating supplier intake and diligence process 
  • Maintain a knowledge of key cost drivers, industry trends, market developments, and new technologies that may impact the information technology function 
  • Lead the identification of vendor gaps and overlap for the information technology category; translate business objectives into procurement strategies to drive vendor-related cost and/or quality improvements 
  • Prepare and manage fact-based RFI/RFP proposals – run competitive bids, consolidate responses, and perform data analysis to assist with vendor selection 
  • Lead the contractual and commercial negotiations of agreements to ensure business needs are met and benefit realization is maximized 
  • Implement KPI(s) into negotiated agreements and work with business owners to ensure vendor compliance 
  • Cultivate stakeholder and vendor relationships to drive results and build credibility for the procurement organization, ensuring processes and policies are followed 
  • Support the ongoing development of Indirect Procurement best practices 
  • Provide support for special procurement projects, key business initiatives, etc. as needed 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

 

  • BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or related field with 7-10+ years of procurement experience, and a deep understanding of information technology processes best practices 
  • Excellent written, oral, organizational, and presentation skills; able to influence company leadership and decision-making at all levels 
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, and interactive environment; strong bias for action, resourcefulness, and effective collaboration 
  • A team-player that is able to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Capable of building and executing complex sourcing strategies that translate into value-added results 
  • Strong negotiation capabilities 
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions 
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with eSourcing tools (Oracle Fusion strongly preferred) 
  • Expectation to be on-site in the NYC office Monday-Thursday of each week 
  • Results-oriented executive who is entrepreneurial, energetic, resilient and personally committed to achieving success 
  • Excellent written, oral, organizational, and presentation skills to influence company leadership and decisions at all levels 
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment; strong bias for action and value adds, coupled with excellent judgment 

 

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $200,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
