Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments.
The Role
Reporting to the Vice President of Fanatics Real Estate, the incumbent is responsible for supporting key components of the Fanatics Real Estate function including budget, forecast, variance reporting and analytics, partnering with functional counterparts, and providing financial input to executive level presentations. The incumbent will help to improve transparency, accountability, and fiduciary responsibility through delivering insightful analysis and management reporting.
This Real Estate Finance Manager invests in the future of Fanatics by acting as a subject matter expert and trusted business and financial advisor to business unit Leadership. This role will be part of the Real Estate Long-term Planning Team, and they help to define questions and answers that impact financial performance and help to bridge the gap between where we are performing today and where we want to be. They’ll perform ad hoc analysis, identify underlying drivers, and provide guidance, insights and recommendations through a comprehensive understanding of operational and financial business drivers.
What Youll Do:
- Develop and maintain consistent reporting packages and presentations throughout various lines of business and functional groups.
- Consolidate, prepare, and distribute timely recurring reports, analysis, and presentations for both internal management and other reporting needs.
- Contribute to the development and consolidation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, flash, and strategic business plans; including preparation of presentations for each cycle as required.
- Provide concise insight and variance explanations into key initiatives and financial drivers.
- Manage capex and opex projects through their full implementation lifecycles, from initial concept and sizing to implementation.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Work closely with financial system colleagues to understand system functionality, and cross-system mapping and reconciliation.
- Perform and support ad hoc analysis, modeling, and projects as needed.
- Strive to continually improve existing processes and challenge the status quo.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- On-time delivery of accurate management reports.
- Quality and accuracy of consolidated budget and forecast financial information.
- Updated manuals and procedural documentation.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields, required.
- 3-5 years of relevant business experience with an emphasis on financial reporting, planning, and analytics; paired with a solid working knowledge of accounting.
- Experience reading an income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
- Position will be based out of either Dallas, TX or New York, NY, with New York being preferred.
- Strong knowledge of complete MS Office suite with advance Excel abilities required including pivot tables, conditional formatting, and look-up / other functions.
- Experience with accounting software a plus. Oracle preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment with evolving structures while effectively managing multiple projects with demanding deadlines.
- English fluency required.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in the real estate industry.
- Previous experience with multi engine, high value jet and rotor wing aircraft.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance/Economics/Quantitative field highly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $133,750 to $181,125, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
