Overview
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing our loyalty program through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Tableau dashboards, coding in SQL, and leveraging data engineering best practices to drive strategic decision-making. Your work will enable us to scale our gifting, athlete experiences, and personalization efforts by creating actionable insights focused on customer reinvestment—including gifting, ticket costs, and event participation.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise in data visualization and SQL, and the ability to think strategically about customer engagement and loyalty. They should be comfortable working cross-functionally to translate data into impactful business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize key loyalty program metrics.
- Use data to drive strategic insights and decision making.
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure clean, reliable data sources.
- Analyze customer reinvestment trends, including gifting, ticket costs, and event participation, to drive loyalty program decisions.
- Provide actionable insights to improve customer personalization efforts and maximize engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance athlete experiences and other customer rewards initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline data processes for scalability.
- Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and executive leadership teams.
Experience and Skills
- 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau for dashboard creation and visualization.
- Advanced SQL skills, with experience handling large datasets.
- Understanding of data engineering best practices and data pipeline optimization.
- Ability to think strategically and translate data into business recommendations.
- Experience working with customer loyalty programs or customer engagement analytics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $130,000 to $160,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
