Fanatics Betting and Gaming is looking for a Tax Analyst who is responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preparation and reporting of various taxes for multiple jurisdictions including but not limited to: State Gaming Tax, IRS, State and Local Patron Withholding, Federal Excise Tax, etc.. This person will need to be able to complete their tasks with minimal guidance while providing accurate and timely information.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tax returns and calculate tax liability accurately
Prepare all tax related journal entries monthly or as needed
Prepare reconciliation of the financial records to tax reporting
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary data and information for tax reporting purposes
Review, investigate and correct errors in the reports supporting tax calculation
Ensure compliance with the applicable local, state, and federal gaming tax regulations
Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding gaming tax-related queries or issues.
Prepare and present tax reports and financial statements to the management team and external stakeholders as required

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field.
Minimum of six (6) months of related experience and/or training required in gaming or casino industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment, and to make well-reasoned and timely decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. 
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various metrics, financial reports, and legal documents. 
Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings

The base salary range for this role is $50,000 per year - $80,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
